Enough is Enough
Is it possible

*
to support a political candidate without demonizing the opposition?
*
to live through a political campaign and not become polarized by the ‘red-blue’
mentality that threatens to destroy our nation?
*
to believe that both political parties love their country and have put forward
honorable
men for the office of President?
*
to become part of the solution rather than our ever widening divisions?

I respect both Barak Obama and John McCain.
My admiration and respect for Senator McCain is immeasurable. I often wonder if
I had been a prisoner of war as he was, if I would have shown the courage and
honor
that he did. The answer is no; I am not made of the stuff.  Senator McCain is an
American hero. His party is proud to nominate him to lead our nation.
In the same way, but for very different reasons, I admire and respect Senator
Obama.
Only in America could a man of such humble origins become editor of the Law
Review
at the most prestigious law school in the land.   And to his credit, rather than
choosing to ‘cash-in’ by working on Wall Street, he chose to help the
disadvantaged
in Chicago. I think the 200,000+ people who heard him speak in Germany realized
that they were listening to the embodiment of the American Dream.
I am wondering, is it possible

* to recognize the gifts of both men and to celebrate their accomplishments?
* to honor God and follow the Ten Commandments and NOT bear false witness
against
others (the innuendos, even outright lies, that I read on the Internet about all
of the political candidates should shame the people who send them and the
people
who pass them on.)
* to believe that Christians can step forward and say “enough!”  Enough
political
vulgarity . . .  we demand a kinder and gentler America.

Christians remember your calling – we have been given the ministry of
reconciliation.
That’s what I believe. What do you believe?

Actually Men are easy to understand, it’s the woman’s complex emotional mind that tries to over analyzes them.

Men are just not complicated. We can only process on thing at a time and it takes awhile to do that, sorta like an Ameba.

So giving verbal directions of 3 things for a man to do is an overload.

Men are only good for breeding, hunting, building a home, protection, fixing things, and lifting heavy objects, Well, real men are.
That’s what they were created for by nature, the rest is modern bullshit. So all the real men are dying off and sissy’s like jew lawyers with money are taking their places in breeding, which will end up being to extinction of humans. The healthy and strong, need to breed with the healthy and strong. That’s how other animals have survived for hundreds of millions of years, but humans are so weak and sickly, that there is no hope for use. Women go for the guy with the most money, which turns out to be the weakest males, control freaks, ego emo’s. Then there are the non-men that actually hurt women and children.
It I were leader of this country, those guys would be taken out back and shot, or stoned to death, impaled, no trial. A man’s main job is to protect women and children.

It’s like when “wife’s name omitted” tells me to fix the sink, I do it right then, cause I’ll forget in 5 minutes. She says that it doesn’t have to be done right then, wanna bet.
Then she starts telling me a half dozen other things, and since my mind can’t process all that info like it use to when I was younger and had a brain sharp as a razor and it was like a massive hard drive, My mind just has a melt down and didn’t hear a single word she said. Then comes back later and bitches that I didn’t do something.

So when you’re having a deep conversation with a man trying to make him see your wants and needs, you may as well be talking to a bowling pin.
One thing at a time, and it may need repeated. Once it attaches itself to his pea brain. then you can work on the next item.

If you just keep trying to feed a shit load of info into our brains, it shuts down for good and nothing else you say gets in, forever, never again. Once this damage is done, then they get another woman before the brain intake starts to work again. Then that woman will overload him, and then he’s on to the next. Sometimes if he can’t find another one, or that on is busy, he will force himself to revisit an old one. That’s why that magic spark seems to be gone and they appear mean and cold.
They are angry that they are forced to deal with a throw away.

Besides that, we’re useless. The only difference between us and apes, is that we can sorta speak, and are almost potty trained.

This is exactly what’s going on at my house.  My 2 cats are planning their revenge as we post and it doesn’t look good for the big guy.  Eloise is on top of the kitchen cabinets, a venue she had yet to enjoy.  Eugene is under the couch.  C’mon guys, it’s not the first German Shepherd you’ve ever seen, chill!

Me and these blueberries? We have much in common.

While Eugene was getting Furminator-ed, Eloise just sort of watched and let me do a pass or 2, but her fur is mink like and well kept, so it was totally unnecessary.

Holy Crap and Holy Cow, look at all the fur that I got off Eugene in like 3 minutes. See how much he loves it too? He wasn’t too fond of the spray that comes with it though. Eloise is hedging her bets and let me do like one pass over her mink like fur. Totally unnecessary in my estimation. Now, I must vacuum. I cannot recommend this Furminator enough! Thanks Dooce for the recommendation!

After listing all but 1 thing today, guess what I found?!  I’m totally breathing a sigh of relief and all is well at Porto Vista today…thanks for your cards, letters and notes of concern…

OK, so I have completely lost my favorite bra.  I’m including my floorplan so you can see how little square footage there is to lose something in.  How hard can this be?

I was wearing it, I took it off and *Poof*  it’s gone.  I’m presently scrubbing, organizing and basically going over every square inch of the above mentioned floorplan to find it.  It was my favorite.  My life could be unpleasantly altered forever because of this loss.

I’m not even kidding, 2 of these deviled eggs (is that how you spell that?) are made of white chocolate. My floral clerk at work made them. The Iron Chef made her own fabulous version that I fully intend to have for breakfast tomorrow.
