Ladies and Gentlemen, I have lost my favorite Bra.
April 5, 2008 · 3 Comments
OK, so I have completely lost my favorite bra. I’m including my floorplan so you can see how little square footage there is to lose something in. How hard can this be?
I was wearing it, I took it off and *Poof* it’s gone. I’m presently scrubbing, organizing and basically going over every square inch of the above mentioned floorplan to find it. It was my favorite. My life could be unpleasantly altered forever because of this loss.

2 of these eggs have been replaced
March 24, 2008 · No Comments
I’m not even kidding, 2 of these deviled eggs (is that how you spell that?) are made of white chocolate. My floral clerk at work made them. The Iron Chef made her own fabulous version that I fully intend to have for breakfast tomorrow.

Easter dinner with the Fulton/Van Duzer family. With both Annies. Annie the dog and Annie, Hanna’s friend from Arkansas. Hanna’s in the black, as is canine Annie (the fuzzy one on the floor). Human Annie is in pink. The guy with the Guinness Extra Stout is the father of my amazing children and the lovely lady to my left is my mom. We had corned beef and cabbage for Easter. It’s a long story.

She’s completely lost her marbles
March 24, 2008 · 1 Comment
To those of you that know Hanna, this will come as no surprise. To those of you who don’t, she makes things. Someday she will invent something that changes the world. Until then, she makes things like this marble slide into her shoe. And yes Bailey, she cleaned everything up when she was done.

Just heard…
March 1, 2008 · 4 Comments
Saturday morning, my downstairs neighbors are watching TV. The husband is out on the lanai, the slider is open, the wife is inside puttering. He’s commenting on the news he’s watching and commercials. And I hear this-
Bob: “Hey Deena, dry mouth constipation. What’s that?”

OK, I want to make it very clear that I really don’t like sports, OK? But, for some reason going to baseball games or playing or watching golf is OK. Why? Because, I think, they’re not mean games. The players, for the most part, aren’t trying to kill anyone. There’s no kicking, tackling, punching, just smacking the cr*p out of a ball. Tonight, I was thinking how cool it probably felt for the Huskies to be out there playing the World Champion Red Sox. What a rush. I would imagine. Like me playing golf with Tiger. I’d be so nervous, trying to just hit one awesome drive. I like the exhibition games because it really doesn’t matter who wins and who loses. The Huskies don’t expect to win. The Red Sox aren’t going to let them win just because they’re college kids and it would be nice. Cause it really wouldn’t be that nice, the Huskies would feel stupid if the Red Sox just let them win. So, it’s just for the fun of it. Which is what I like about sports. After all, it’s a game. And games are supposed to be fun. Except Candyland with Jesus, which is just weird. Ask Hanna.
